Aviation Accident Investigations was established in
January 1993. Its purpose is to provide expert
opinions and analysis based on actual facts, as to
the cause of an engine malfunction, failure, or the
mis-assembly by mechanics during maintenance. We
specialize in general aviation reciprocating engines
i.e.. Lycoming and Continental. Since the company's
inception, Jim has been the sole investigator, and
has worked on numerous litigations evolving out of
general aviation accidents. He has provided expert
opinions for both the defense and plaintiffs in
these litigations. He has also helped private
individuals determine the cause of their engine
failures/malfunctions.
Clientele includes, but is not limited to attorneys,
general aviation companies, corporate aircraft
owners, insurance companies and private individuals.
Jim Stabley is the sole proprietor of Aviation
Accident Investigations, and based on his knowledge
and expertise, he will provide a comprehensive
expert opinion, based on the factual data and
